Jody is a 2011 graduate of the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in British Columbia and has a comprehensive understanding of the application of massage therapy. She is a member of both the College of Massage Therapist of BC as well as the National Health Practitioners of Alberta. She is able to work as a Registered Massage Therapist in all provinces and offers direct billing for her patients.

Jody has a passion for supporting families. She has extensive experience in working specifically with women as they transition into motherhood, supporting them through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. When working with woman through their pregnancies and early post-partum days, Jody has a specialized table, cushions and bolsters to allow her patients to comfortably and safely lay prone (face down) to receive their treatment.

Jody is trained to assess and address various types of pain and discomfort and has a wide variety of experience including Myofascial Release, Scar work (including C-section scar), Fascial Cupping, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, treating Acute Injuries, MVA’s and workplace injuries, Therapeutic Stretching, integrating Yoga Therapy into Massage Therapy, as well as Relaxation Massage. Jody is also working on her training to be able to offer Laser Therapy into her practice in the new future.

Jody also has experience working with both babies and children. She is comfortable with all ages and stages and believes that wellness and self care are vital for every body to be in its optimal physical and mental health.

Jody currently practices in Crossfield, collaborating with Dr.Lyle Hare of Crossfield Chiropractic. She also has a small home practice in Airdrie where she welcomes existing clients only.

Jody welcomes the mothers in her home practice to bring their babies or children with them to their treatment. Jody has most things in her home studio so that children can be comfortable, entertained, and enjoy coming along for appointments while their Mama gets the care that she deserves.
